This is the website with my information in it. (Or has something to do with me)
My current digital footprint implies that I'm quite a private person as someone could not learn a lot about me just by goggling me. When I Googled myself, I just found my blog post's links, some pages I liked on Facebook, my name written on a Dekalb County site saying I won a math competition and sadly one hideous picture of me when I was in 8th grade. The site I linked above has a picture of me I posted via Google+.
I want to be known as a leader whom younger people looks up to. When colleges, parents, employers, and friends talk about me I want them to say I am ambitious, headstrong, disciplined, funny, dependable and a leader.
I am very safe about what I post and do online as I do not want to be humiliated or be a reason for someone(or the whole world) to hate me. I am always on social media like Twitter, Instagram, etc but always put it on private and show my posts only to people I want and I always think twice before posting something online.
I thought that the articles were very good and I can relate to it as I have posted some very embarrassing pictures of myself on Facebook and would not like to do that again. I thought about how that one stupid tweet ruined her entire career or how some sports players were not chosen for a team for what they had posted online and it really made me realize how fast and easily someone's life can be ruined from a little mistake online. I have seen many people I may or may not know posting pictures that are embarrassing or with illegal substances and I feel bad for them as they are just ruining their future by doing something now that they feel is "cool".
