After reading the posts "The Top 10 Reasons We Deleted Your Posts" and "From Commenter To Columnist: The Atlantic's 'Cynic', I realized how comments affect people's views. I think that the article from The New York Times should be read by everyone. I was surprised to know how a commenter's life was changed (in a good way) by a single comment.
I commented here on the post "Do You Eavesdrop?" and on Griffin, Andrew and Chris's blogs. I am usually on Yahoo! as their posts are entertaining and I love reading comments on their posts as most of them are hilarious. The comments are sometimes long and sometimes really short. Usually the longest comment section I've ever seen in their posts was on a post about Miley Cyrus with people discussing how lascivious she has turned out to be now. I feel like some people who comment on Yahoo are really bitter and use a lot of profanity. I feel like they should not be allowed to comment on any of their posts. This is the site that I visit often.
